Units: About 7,500
Hazards: Small pieces of the enamel coating can pop off when the skillet is heated, posing a burn hazard to consumers.
Remedies: Refund
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled skillets. Known purchasers were mailed instructions for obtaining a full refund. Consumers who purchased the skillets at a QVC store should return the skillets to any QVC store for a full refund.

Description

This recall involves Technique brand enamel-coated 8-inch cast iron skillets with two pour spouts and a ribbed underside. The interior portion of the skillet is cream while the exterior was sold in three colors: sage, blue and red. The brand "Technique" is printed on the bottom of the pans.

Injuries:

The firm has received five reports of enamel popping off of the skillet, resulting in two reports of consumers receiving minor burns.
