Stanley Security Solutions Announces Recall of Door Locksets; Failure of Latches Could Lead to Entrapment in an Emergency

6K and 7KC series door locksets

Hazards: The latches can fail and the door cannot be unlocked from the inside, posing an entrapment hazard. This failure could lead to the inability to vacate a location in an emergency.
Remedies: Replace
Consumers should contact Stanley Security Solutions to schedule an appointment to have the latches replaced free of charge.
Description
The recalled latches are in 6K and 7KC series medium Duty Locksets. These locksets have a brass or stainless steel finish and may have the word "BEST" embossed on the key core.
