The TV stand's neck support can break and cause the TV to tip over, posing a risk of injury to the consumer. Remedies:
Replace
Consumers should immediately stop using and detach the TV from the stand and keep both the TV and the base in a safe location. Consumers should contact Haier America to request a free replacement stand neck to be used with the original base. Consumers with a wall-mounted TV may continue to use it but should request a free replacement stand neck in case the TV is used with the stand in the future.
Description
This recall involves Haier 42-inch LED TVs with model number LE42B1380. "Haier" is printed on the front of the TV and the model number is printed on a label on the back of the unit.

Haier America and CPSC have received 184 reports of the TV stand's neck cracking or breaking. No injuries have been reported.
