SCOTT Recalls Vanish Evo Bicycle Helmets Due to Head Injury Hazard

Hazards: The bicycle helmets do not comply with the impact requirements of the CPSC safety standards for bicycle helmets.
Remedies: Refund
Consumers should immediately stop using the bicycle helmet and take it to an authorized SCOTT dealer for a refund of the purchase price.
Description
The helmets have the brand name "SCOTT" printed on the outer shell of the helmet on the left side. For the Vanish Evo black and grey helmets, the lettering is black; for the Vanish Evo white and grey helmets, the lettering is white. The following serial number ranges are included in this recall: 2014-06/009359 through 2014-09/027210. The serial number is printed on a white sticker inside the back of the helmet.
