Recall Date: April 16th, 2015 Type: Leaf Blowers Units: About 823,000 in the United States and 41,000 in Canada. (Models UT42120 and UT42120A of this product were previously recalled in February 2013.) Hazards:
The blower vacuum can overheat, spark and catch on fire posing fire and burn hazards. Remedies:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled blower vacuums and return them to any Home Depot or Direct Tools Factory Outlet store for a full refund.
Description
This recall involves Homelite 12 amp electric blower vacuums with model numbers UT42120, UT42120A and UT42121. Model numbers are located on a label on the left side of the red motor housing. The blower vacuums are red and black. "Homelite BlowerVac 2 Speed Powerful 220 MPH" is printed on the side of the motor housing and on the black plastic blower tube.
